2014 Day of Champions Football Camp set for June 30-July 1

The days are getting long and are getting hot, meaning it is again time for the annual Day of Champions Football Camp.

Sponsored by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, the two day camp will take place at FireLake Ballfields from June 30-July 1.

The Tribally-sponsored camps are open to all enrolled Native American youth or children of CPN employees, both boys and girls from 7-14 year old, for a price of $15 for two days of camp. Lunch, a t-shirt and other refreshments included. At last year’s event, 75 percent of attendees were Native American. Of that number, 50 percent were enrolled members of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.
