Though not as way back as some of our other posts, we wanted to look back at the group that started it all, the 2003 Potawatomi Leadership Program innagural class.
Since that first group walked through the doors, the PLP has graduated 12 classes of Potawatomi members who spend 6-weeks learning about the cultural, charitable and commercial facets of the Citizne Potawatomi Nation. Many return to the annual Family Reunion Festival held each June to share their previous experiences as well as see the progress the Tribe has made in the years since their participation.
The application process for the 2016 class will open March 2016, and all Potawatomi Tribal members from across the world are encouraged to apply. More information can be found at http://plp.potawatomi.org/.
