Citizen Potawatomi Community Development Corporation was recently awarded Large Business of the Year by the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma.
According to a press release issued by the organization, Business of the Year Awards are given to the businesses that have given both time and monetary contributions through sponsorships, volunteerism and commitment to the chamber.
CPCDC was recognized for its involvement with the chamber’s 2017 Leadership Native Oklahoma program and supporting AICCO’s many other activities and mission. CPCDC was actively involved in helping launch the chamber’s southwest chapter this year and was a sponsor of the Oklahoma City chapter’s major networking event.
Citizen Potawatomi Community Development Corporation members were an integral part of this year’s gathering business summit. Shane Jett, the corporation’s executive director and CEO, served as the conference’s master of ceremonies. Jett also is an AICCO state advisory board member. Felecia Freeman, CPCDC commercial loan officer, is AICCO state board secretary.
