We’re virtually here to help!
Bozho
(Hello),
We at CPN Behavioral Health understand how stressful this time in history is for everyone. There has never been anything like this in (almost) any of our lifetimes. We want to help. Those of us who serve under Native Connections and Substance Abuse/Suicide Prevention (SASP, formerly MSPI) would like to help by providing tips for self-care during this time, as well as ways to spread the word to others about maintaining self-care and structure during this otherwise chaotic time.
For our first message, we want to share some tips that are a combination of practices we have found across the field of mental health treatment and recent recommendations from a variety of national organizations:
Of course, you can always check with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention at cdc.gov with questions and helpful information during this time. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is also available at 1-800-273-TALK(8255) or text CONNECT to 741741, or online at suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
