When two Tribal members in different parts of the country fell on hard times and their homes were in danger of being lost, they found assistance through Citizen Potawatomi Nation. CPN’s Mortgage Assistance Program is available to CPN tribal members who need financial help with a mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, property taxes or HOA fees.
For fall 2024, students applying for the Tribal scholarship will be able to request that the funding be designated as “for room and board.” This is to allow students like those who attend University of California schools to access their full Tribal benefits.
