Citizen Potawatomi Nation will host the second annual First Responders Appreciation Day on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort West parking lot. The event will include food, drinks, prizes and games. First Responders will also receive a small gift as a token of our appreciation. All First Responder agencies are invited to attend.
Children in Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s After School Child Development program had the chance to interact with first responders in a positive way when the CPN After School Program hosted Local Hero Day.
Citizen Potawatomi Nation honored first responders with its inaugural First Responders Appreciation Day. Security Training Officer Tommy Bowen said each of the responders who attended went home with about two prizes each — either from drawings or playing games such as football toss and basketball.
