Spark a Change: Let’s talk about the environment

CPN has partnered with the Pioneer Library System for an Earth Day Spark A Change event. Celebrate the environment with us this Earth Day weekend and learn more about pollinators through an engaging conversation with Eileen Garvin on her book The Music of Bees followed by hands-on activities directed by Okies for Monarchs to learn ways you can protect pollinators at home! This event will be held outdoors at Boy Scout Park in Shawnee. Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket! In case of inclement weather, this event will be held indoors in the Community Room at the Shawnee Public Library. A plant swap will be hosted at 1:00 p.m. at the Boy Scout Park Pavilion. Please contact programming@pioneerlibrarysystem.org with any questions.
