This class will begin a series of cultural skills classes organized around making regalia with an image presentation (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and an opportunity to design regalia and applique patterns for personal regalia (1-4 p.m.). This Cultural Skills Class will take participants through the process of making a men's vest. Some fabric in limited styles will be available for use; participants are invited to bring their own fabric to ensure their preferred color/style. Sewing machines available to the first 8 registrants. Additional participants are welcome to audit the class for instruction and pattern making but will not be guaranteed a sewing machine.
